Moseley Old Hall at Fordhouses and Boscobel at Bishop’s Wood both tell parts of Charles II’s escape story. Moseley combines its house with woodland play and a knot garden. Boscobel adds historic farmyard exhibits, a grass maze and willow tunnel. They are separate destinations; choose one main visit rather than assuming a joint ticket or shared site.
Moseley is a National Trust property, while Boscobel is operated by English Heritage. Membership of one does not automatically include the other. Moseley publishes fixed non-member admission and family rates; Boscobel asks you to select a date. Moseley parking is free; Boscobel lists a non-member parking charge. Read the listing’s ticket notes before booking.
Both visits have outdoor activities and historic interiors. Moseley’s upper floors are reached by stairs, and Boscobel does not allow pushchairs inside the house. Check access information and individual opening hours before travelling. Bring suitable clothing if the gardens and play areas are part of your plan.
